Like many, I have been on a lifetime journey of self acceptance...who I am, what I am and where I am.  My experience with Church in the past was remote...believing, attending, but never fully connecting with God's presence and the community of faith where I attended.

I came to Peace Haven Baptist Church in July of 2018, after leaving four other churches because of prejudice, ignorance ,and when one even kicked me out ,even though I was baptized there. I fell in love with PHBC. They have loved and accepted me as I am, and have helped me through many trying times in the last 6 years.  They act like Christians should, caring for one another. I LOVE this church and consider them a part of MY family.
